I am not impressed at all by the Nokia N97. The scree is resistive instead of touchscreen, which makes it worse than the blackberry storm, iphone 3gs, and palm pre (despite having a higher resolution). The processor is only 424 MHz, which is weak-sauce compared to the processors you see on new smartphones. Because of the slow processor, it takes forever to load applicaations, and forget about multitasking with this phone. The camera is the one redeeming quality about the Nokia N97. The LED flash is great, and video recording at 30 fps is decent. Nokia's S60 5th edition is complete trash, and not suiting for a 2009 smartphone. It reminds me of nokia phones 5 years ago in terms of ease of use. The webkit browser is nice, especially with flash lite. Youtube videos were a breeze. I have been waiting for Nokia to make an iPhone killer for several years now, but the N97 definitely is not it.
